This quilt was designed and inspired by a trip I made to Morocco and southern Spain. I shot these photos in Marrakesh and Andalucia, digitally altered them, and printed them on fabric. The block is inspired by the arabic motifs I saw in the handpainted tiles. The colors are inspired by the natural dyes used in the traditional Moroccan tapestries.
